In any festival of Lanna, the music of Salor Sor Seung can create entertainment all the times and provide stage for men and women to court by singing poetic verses and lyrics. Accompanied with the music, Lanna people adapted silk reeling activity to be one form of dance. The sound of beating Glong Sabadchai or victory celebration drum and tempo of reckless movement of Fon Daab (sword dance) and Fon Jerng (martial art dance) in any making merit festivals express the fantastic choreography of Northern Thai people.

ไม่ว่างานบุญหรืองานใดๆ สะล้อ ซอ ซึง เป็นมหรสพที่สร้างความบันเทิงเริงใจให้ชาวล้านนามาทุกยุคทุกสมัย เป็นเวทีให้แม่หญิงพ่อชายป้อคำหวานผ่านคำซอ อีกฟ้อนสาวไหมที่แปลงกิจให้กลายเป็นท่ารำ บ้างมาจากการรบ ยามสงบเกิดเป็นท่ารำ อย่างกลองสะบัดชัยกระตุ้นให้คึกฮึกเหิม งานปอยคราใดตีรับเอาโชคเอาชัย ทั้งฟ้อนดาบฟ้อนเจิง ผสานเชิงการต่อสู้ด้วยมือเปล่าและอาวุธ ก้าวย่างแคล่วคล่องว่องไว ลายฟ้อนตามทางตั้งขันนบไหว้ วาดมือตามแม่ไม้ วาดลวดลายใส่ลูกเล่นให้เป็นศิลปะ
