The sound of foot tapping compounding with the sound of music at the yard is a signal of New Year celebration. Men and women in the colorful traditional dressing gather at the vicinity of the headman’s house and cheerfully dance together following the rhythm of music to pray for god to get rid of bad things. The louder their foot tapping, the more peaceful and safe their village is. The tempo of dancers’ movement depends on the frequency of musical instrument. Subu or string instrument gives relaxing tempo as if inviting people to come and join while tempo of Fulu, a mouth organ arouses high-spirited dance.

เสียงเท้ากระทบผืนดินผสานเสียงดนตรีกลางลานบ้าน แสดงถึงช่วงเวลาของการเฉลิมฉลองรับศักราชใหม่ เด็กผู้ใหญ่ชายหญิงในชุดประจำเผ่าหลากสีสันร่วมเต้นรำตามจังหวะดนตรี เพื่อบอกกล่าวสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ให้ช่วยขับไล่สิ่งชั่วร้ายออกไปจากชุมชน เสียงกระทบเท้ายิ่งดังเท่าไร ความสงบสุขปลอดภัยจักยิ่งทวี ท่วงท่าช้า-เร็วของผู้เต้นขึ้นอยู่กับเครื่องดนตรีที่ให้จังหวะนำ ซือบือ ให้ท่วงทำนองผ่อนคลาย ดุจจะเชิญชวนผู้คนให้มาร่วมเต้น จังหวะคึกคักทำนองเร้าใจของ ฝู่หลู่ จักกระตุ้นให้ผู้มาเยือนร่วมเต้นรำรับขวัญวันใหม่
